Do You Judge Your New Teachers?

We tend to share a little similarity in our primary school life, secondary school life, college life, university life… Obviously you can see that our maturity tends to develop phase by phase but when I said similarity, it usually not that ‘obvious’ to be discovered. We tend to love judging the NEW teachers! No? Yes? Read on.

I’m sure most of you who read this have your favorite teacher/lecturer in your head, for instance, my favorite teacher is Madam Teoh, who is my English teacher in secondary school, I really love her because she favors me a lot in my class when most of my classmates hate English lessons and do not pay attention to her except for me. You must have your favorite teacher, like you like this teacher because each time you’re near to failure, he/she will give you a pass or whatever.

Now question: What happens if your favorite teacher leaves and he/she is replaced by a new teacher?

The new teacher will be treated as if he/she is sent to the court, sitting as an accused and each and everyone of us play the role as judges/jury. If he/she can’t deliver a good impression, that’s it! Convict him!!! Okay, maybe I’m a little exaggerative, but it does happen though!

We tend to have different perception towards the new teacher/lecturer, each time we heard about replacement, the first thing that popped into our head is - “Eew, can he teach?“. Little did we know that this is so brutal and unfair for the noob, I mean NEWbie teacher, but we love doing it anyway. :P

They say we need to give chances to people who will contribute benefits to us, I won’t disagree with this but heck! We just like to judge him/her based on his/her first impression or compare him with our previous teacher, not like we are pointing guns at his/her head in class while he teaches. So why can’t we judge?

p/s: But of course, if you find your new teacher sucks, learn to play truant or… ponteng. :P

Now do you judge your new teachers?

I think it’s hard for us not too.. We are already bitter about our favorite teacher leaving us. It’s hard not to treat the new teacher bad. Change is already difficult for people. But ya.. I agree that it’s not right for us and we should change our attitude in this.

Never thought about this though. Interesting! =)

I had a spanish teacher my 2nd year in high school. We all loved her, but she was pregnant and had her baby. She was then replaced by another teacher that none of us liked. She changed the whole atmosphere of the class and blah! I think if new teachers can come in and not think they’re “all that” and keep the old atmosphere and try to relate to the students as the previous teacher it would be easier.

Changing Teachers are just like changing shirts in some of those so called prestigious colleage.
Yes, most of them left because of greener pasture and better environment.
Never mind let me enlighten with this story:

    Dear Tech Support Team:
Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 5.0 to Wife 1.0.
I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child-processes that took up a lot of space and valuable resources.
In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activities.
An application such as Bachelor Nights 10.3, Cricket 5.0, BeerWithBuddies 7.5, and Outings 3.6 no longer runs, crashing the system whenever selected. I can’t seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favourite applications.
I’m thinking about going back to Girlfriend 5.0 , but the ‘uninstall’ doesn’t work on Wife 1.0.
    Please help!

    Thanks,

    Dear Troubled User:
This is a very common problem that people complain about.
Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 5.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program.
Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!!
It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 5.0.
It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed.
You cannot go back to Girlfriend 5.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed not to allow this. (Look in your Wife 1.0 Manual under Warnings-Alimony-Child Support) .
I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving the environment.
I suggest installing the background application “Yes Dear” to alleviate software augmentation.
The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway.
Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean 2.5, Sweep 3.0, Cook 1.5 and DoLaundry 4.2. However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program NagNag 9.5 Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend New Clothes 2.1 and Jewellery 5.0

WARNING : DO NOT, under any circumstances, install SecretaryWithShortSkirt 3.3 . This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system.

    Be happy.
