Have You Faced Rude Promoters Before?

Humans are like this, super unpredictable and for no particular reason you will dislike someone so naturally you will show your “You-owed-me-1million-bucks” face to that person.
But… What happens if you are a promoter, can you do this to your potential customers? We all know it’s a big NO! But some promoters loves doing it.
*Read carefully, I’m not saying ALL promoters are rude, I said SOME*
Again I’m gonna break these rude promoters into groups by giving them names. Hehehehe!
The Failed Fortune Tellers
See the word “FAILED”? Okay now this is how it works, fortune tellers can predict your future and the FAILED ones will predict something WRONGLY. Why? Imagine if you’re damn rich but each time you hang out, you just love wearing a singlet and a short pants, you walk into a high class shop and you won’t be surprised when you need to wait for a long time before someone RELUCTANTLY came over to serve you, and this is how they serve you.
They will look at you from your hair to your toes, and in their minds they will start predicting that you are a poor guy and you probably can’t even afford a single thing here and the minute you point at something which you like and it is EXPENSIVE, the promoter will look at you with her eyes opened up so WIDE and they will start showing their faces that say “If you can’t afford, better don’t try it.”. You got the signal and you walk away because obviously you’re offended by how they treat you!
The Frowners
Frowners are people that find it hard to smile. These people have a lot of problems in their heads and even when you smile and ask “Do you have xxx product because I find it good!”. And these people will start pushing their lips to make a big U and they will answer “yes…please…proceed….to….xxx….dee…part….ment….”
After answering you, they frown again. And if you ask a lot of questions, that’s when their faces will shrink and they will get real pissed off. And because you were intimidated, you walked away.
The Idiots
The idiots are very common in shopping complexes, these people DO NOT KNOW anything about their products. You ask them, “Where is this this this”, they will answer you “I don’t know”. They will answer “I don’t know”, “I don’t remember”, “I don’t understand your question” when you ask them BUT when you ask them if they remember their off day, it’ll be a YES YES YES!!!
So when they don’t know anything, you might as well just walk away because it’s useless what!
The Bitches
These promoters WILL NEVER STOP talking to each other during work hours. Sometimes when they are in the midst of talking and you wanna ask about something, they will show their unhappy faces because you are interrupting their conversation WHICH is not supposed to happen! And when they’ve done showing you the things they want, they will go back and talk again and when you ask again, that’s when you will hear them whisper “Wait for a while, this fucker is so noisy.”
Then, you walk away because you’re known as a fucker. HOW HURT!
The Follower
I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate it when promoters are following me EVERYWHERE I go! When I wanna look for something, they will appear behind you and before you even wanna place it in your basket, they will start chanting… “Our product is so special blah blah blah blah blah.”. Then you look at her uniform, it has a PRODUCT X logo, so you walked to PRODUCT Y and she appears again!!! And she will promote for PRODUCT Y too! WHAT IS GOING ON????
The Missing Ones
Isn’t it problematic when you want to ask about some products and you found out that the promoters just went missing. You can’t smell their presence but you really need to know the product information, maybe they have the power of invisible girl? They are there but we just can’t see them? And what do you do? You place it back to the rack and shake it off.
So I’ve listed down the types of rude promoters, have you faced any rude promoters and wanna share your story here? Feel free to leave comments over here! 
looks like u nvr doing any part time as a promoter…sometimes they have their difficulties..it’s wasnt really gd to label them tat way..they r rude promoter who u labeled as The Failed Fortune Tellers.but mostly they r v kind..
I was a promoter before, and to use “difficulties” is not an excuse to be rude to customers. If that’s the case, resign then. And I said SOME promoters, I do not generalize. Hope you noticed.
i hate the promoters in all those categories. except “the idiots”. coz as chuanguan sed, they mite have their difficulties. like maybe its their 1st week or something like that.
as for “the follower”, sometimes they make u feel like they think ure a shoplifter or something! -_-”
LOL The Followers are crazy isn’t it? They thought that we will steal like that! Duhhhh…. Okay maybe “The Idiots” part is too harsh but depends also lar, if those promoters have been working for quite a long time and still don’t know anything… then…. really idiot… -_-”

the follower is actually requried by the bosses..which they hope to give gd services when u needed..they actually din notice many ppl do not like to be tailed..they r doing this to earn their living..by the way..whether r u stealing or not is non of their bussiness..because..stolen goods are not theirs..they r just promoter..haha..

so overall..i think..promoter isnt tat bad after all..

u know this Vince & Co. (i guess thats the name) accessories shop on the first floor Gurney Plaza? the one near SA Creation ……. anyway was walking in to find present for a friend so was looking at the items intensely since i’ve walk in theres this young cosplay-wannabe promoter/sales assistant walk towards me so fast and just follow me around like a dog.
ok i mean REAL CLOSE till i can smell her body odour (pardon me) and i walk to EVERY SINGLE CORNER of the shop back n forth twitch here twitch there ……… she’s still following me DAMN close
i ended up buying nothing but having fun playing prank on her ……. so i walk towards the exit and suddenly just turn behind which totally freak her out and she let out a girly scream ………. all the customers in the shop just stare at us …… i was telling her ” please thank me for touring u around the shop u work in ……. any of your friends there need any touring? i’m so kind to offer free tour in this shop u see ” ……. she just stand there dumbfounded …….. padan muka
come on …… this never happen to any of the customers inside u see ……. just me ……… geezes
Lyndy: FLASH YOUR CASH and throw that to the bitch’s face, tell her that whatever you’re looking you have the ability to buy, not like you can’t afford also, yeah I extremely hate followers too! They are so freakish, they resemble… DOGS you know. Haha. I like the speech part and sucks for her to let out a girly scream, wanna follow still scream for what? Stupiak.
