McChicken, McAyam?

Sometimes ordering food in drive-thru can bring you to hell when you get to speak to crazy people! I don’t even know if I’m at the wrong or he’s trying to confuse me, but this “operator” is driving me insane!

(My car stops next to the machine for me to order the food)

Operator: Hello welcome to McDonald’s what would you like to have?

Me: I want a large set of McChicken.

Operator: McChicken or McAyam sir?

Me: (Puzzled) Huh? McAyam?

Operator: Yes, you want McAyam or McChicken?

Me: But… Ayam is Chicken right?

Operator: Yes, ayam is chicken but do you want McAyam or McChicken?

Me: Hey is this some kind of game?

Operator: No, because there are 3 cars behind you so we have to be quick.

Me: OK! McAYAM LARGE then!

Operator: Ok is there anything else?

Me: No

Operator: Ok then let me repeat your order, you wanted a large set of McChicken, total is shown at the screen please collect your food at the counter in front, thank you.

Me: WHAT THE…?!

By the way, AYAM is a Malay word for “Chicken”. That’s why I’m pissed. :P

I’ll be glad if this is some sort of MTV show - Boiling Point but hell it’s not! I’m dealing with a crazy operator! Thank God I wasn’t in a rush, otherwise I would have screwed him upside down left right center. God damn!
