The Controversial Good Boy Gone Bad

Thanks to Esther and Chester, my love for Pacmee has revived. OMG, maybe I’m too exaggerating but since the service is getting better and better, I decided to re-blog about this.

“So you mean you blogged about this before?” The answer is YES but I removed it because I didn’t get hold of how it really works and benefit people so this time I guess I can safely elaborate on a thing or two with regards to PacMee.

First thing first, WHAT IS PACMEE?

If you have heard about Twitter, then you should know what is a PacMee, in fact, it works almost the same as Twitter. It is a microblogging tool that allows the user to update what they’re doing and the people who “follow” the users will get instant update via text messages. Technically speaking, you are stalking the user, but in a sophisticated way.

So you see this little box in my website? From here you can see the updates if you don’t want to “follow” me by paying RM0.25 (YEP! 25cents) per month to receive my update via sms OR you can’t follow because you are not a Maxis/Hotlink user. So you could pretty understand 2 things:

• If you wanna follow me, you gotta be a Maxis/Hotlink user

• If you follow me, you gotta pay 25 cents PER MONTH to receive my updates. But I promise whoever that follows me, I will always entertain y’all through my update!

How To Follow?

Type ON CEDRIC and send to 22700 . So whenever I update my PacMee, for example, I’m dining at this place and I am terribly offended by people who have bad breath, all I need to do is to micro-blog about it via PacMee then it will be delivered to your mobile phone. And it will appear in my blog too.

See I can’t be blogging those tiny tiny details in my blog right? You know if I wanna hit a post, I don’t do a 200-character entry. So since I have PacMee, I guess things are looking simple now, you get my constant updates and please, I HAVE TO PAY TO UPDATE TOO OK?!

But… Why Follow You? You’re Not A Celebrity.

Good question, this is absolutely not compulsory, to me it’s a new way of reaching out to my readers because apart from waiting to see my blog being updated, they can know what I’m doing and what’s my thoughts on those minor things I encounter daily. If you don’t want to follow you can check my website because I embedded PacMee and you can see my updates there too. If you follow me, you can interact with me by sending me message directly to my phone! I think it’s cool.

I’m still not convinced why should I follow you, waste of my cash.
