The Controversial Good Boy Gone Bad

PC Fair = A hell lot of computers, hardwares and accessories are sold in a cheaper price + A HELL LOT OF PEOPLE!We went to PC Fair because I need a brand new webcam. And we have already expected that there will be a large crowd so we decided to go earlier. But to our disappointment, despite we reached at 11pm (which we considered as early), it’s not easy to find a parking space!

PIKOM PC Fair is held in PISA (Penang International Sports Arena).

Because everyone knows that on weekends it’ll be super crowded, so everyone went there earlier too. It’s 11pm and the popularity is growing. If you think that next time you should come later, you’ll be dead too. Because when there are cheap stuffs, the traffic won’t die! ;)

There are many booths being set up to exhibit their products which are usually sold in a cheaper price. Among the things that people are looking for are cheap printers, laptops, cameras blah blah blah. Watch how some booths are decorated like a night market.

And you will see many promoters start memorizing their lines.

What you see are just the beginning of the exhibition… Let me take you through the definition of real “CROWD”. Somebody needs to learn crowd controlling already!!!

Check this out people, it’s so damn crowded and you gotta enjoy people’s odor that will make you become anorexic immediately, why? You’re gonna vomit but for the sake of my webcam… I don’t mind squeezing!

In the arena itself you can see there are even more booths offering a wide variety of hardwares and like the old saying goes, “If everyone is special then you’re not special”. The people have to come up with a unique idea that will attract people’s attention. I’ve seen some examples, such as:

This guy has a label “I’m a Noob” on his forehead, I don’t know why is he doing that but definitely he caught many people’s attention! So who’s gonna put up “I’m a pro” on the forehead?

These guys are wearing the paper crowns and one of them even uses the old school bell to attract people’s attention! Wicked isn’t it?

While many people are busy buying stuffs, there are of course people who can’t stand the heat and went up resting, some showed their bored faces. Well what to do? Sometimes husband loves all these technologies things and the wife just don’t like it? Or vice versa?

I finally got my hands on the webcam before heading to Queensbay mall for another bigger gathering. I really admire the two chicks that got me into buying the webcam from them. They just can’t stop talking and I even got defeated! Oh gosh! These are their lines:

 ”You know what, you cannot find other booths that sell the same brand as we sell! Come on, buy lah! It’s only RM88 you know, GOOD QUALITY summore, you pay RM100 you still can get back RM12. You said tight budget? Buy lah! Cheap and good quality. I tell you lah, 3 years warranty for you. If really cannot use, or you go home use that time blur like hell, we give you a new one!”

I didn’t even have the chance to speak. Sweat… So I decided to buy! And trust me, the webcam is really good! Ooh lala!
