- Smart but boastful - They will make you feel like you are stupid, however, they are smart so you either suck it up and admit you are indeed stupid or you continue to compete.
- Boastful but stupid - They will make you feel like you are stupid, however, they are really stupid. The reason they intimidate you so that you will think that you cannot beat them and hence you give up trying and they’ll be the lucky winners.
- Pretentious - They will tell you that they are certainly not able to make it, or they don’t study at all but they can get fantastic results. And each time you ask them how did they do it, you’ll end up getting the same answer, “No I didn’t study at all!”. LIARS! (However there are really lucky people, that’s why I used the word ‘some‘.)
- Selfish - Just because they can’t pass their exams, they will influence you so that they won’t be the only idiot in your college.
Morale of the story: Don’t mix with everyone in your class, not everyone is as kind as me *ahem*. Some people enjoy watching you fall, real motherfuckers!

Oops, I didn’t mean to insinuate or hint anybody, it’s just a general statement. All I know is I don’t mix with those kind of people I mentioned above, they will do me no good but only disappoint me.
I’m blessed to have awesome friends in my class, you know who you really are! I don’t wanna list the names so that I don’t have to entertain questions like “Oh I’m not your friend is it?” , and I’m afraid I’ll be too brutal to say “Yes, you are NOT my friend.”
Hey you’re in a college already, learn to pick your real friends. A groupie with too many snakes in a group is gonna hurt ya! Especially the ones with 2 heads. You just don’t wanna feel their sting.

Listen to the wise man here, I’m always right! I’m sure you have people like those in my class right? Don’t worry about those losers, just DON’T BE LIKE THOSE LOSERS!
I am not making this post because I’m hurt by anyone else, in fact I know my style, those whom I can’t really mix with, it’s either I don’t mix at all or I talk less with them. Those people I mentioned on the above really exist! And I know some in my class too, but no names mentioned. I’m sure you have met some so called ‘friend’ like that right?

You don’t need people who are too afraid to see you pass hence pretending as if they are really stupid. True friends help each other, this is college, not the television show “Apprentice”. Quit being so fucking selfish!
And also stop boasting, whether you are superbly intelligent or not, DON’T! Each time you brag, for example if you boast to me, do you know what I feel about you? I am actually hoping you don’t fail miserably and be a laughing stock in front of many other people you’ve bragged to. What’s the point to show that your status is one step higher than us? Not like we have to worship you, fuck you!
So, how do you deal with ‘friends’ like that?
I won’t particularly be worried about those who are smart and boastful (a.k.a - Kiang Tio Ho, Mai Kay Kiang) coz they eventually WILL bite the dust - they will find soon enough that they will be left alone; friends befriend them only when they find them useful, after which, they will be left alone to deal with their own lives - sad to say - a lonely life… heh heh heh…
But what I can’t stand the most is those who pretends. They come to u and tell u oh die lar die lar, gonna fail, exam coming tomorrow, haven study yet… and they freak the shit outta you just so that they can feel good about themselves…
Telling them off won’t do any good to you, but at least u get the point across by giving them the general idea that you are not a susceptible icon to their ‘fear’ of ‘failing’…
The next time u get pretentious ppl like this, tell them straight in their face - F’ off larr!! Hahaha… that’s what I always do… =P

hey there! i’ve some classmates who’re exactly like that too! good thing i’m not at all close to them! those in the pretentious category are really kiasu,not only in studies but mostly, everything else also!

Got lar… I met these ppl in colleges, then in university, and the worst you get is those from medical varsities. Highly esteemed kiasu ppl who wont share info coz they scared you will beat them by one mark… so they go around by telling others that they are going to fail just to gain sympathy…
And if you do fall into these loopholes, you will be seen joining them, consoling them which may take up a whole lot of your own time (which by far could be used to do your own revision)…
That’s their trick lar ced… you will see more of them when u go further… hahaha… the higher the education, the more kiasu they become… just because they simply want to be the best… by making others worst…
Haih… got my own fair share of them… u just feel so cheated… but wat to do? Learn from experiences lor…

I don’t really deal with them. If they wanna do their ’stuff’, just let them be. Annoyed? Yes. But, that’s their attitude which we couldn’t never change at all. Just smile would do the trick, I guess.

Actually… I didn’t have classmates like that. Well, they were still horrible….but on a whole different level. I was in one of the slacker classes so nobody really bothers to study and the few who did well ironically were the nicer people. I agree that “Some people enjoy watching you fall, real motherfuckers!”. Lots of 3 or 4 headed snakes in my class. God, you’d have to continuously watch your back if you were there.
