The Controversial Good Boy Gone Bad

Aight, no more hatin’ in this entry.

I have to admit, I’m a fucking demanding person so if Streamyx doesn’t run smooth, to me, I MUST know why they didn’t meet their requirement, and I specifically told them it’s alright if I don’t get a perfect 512kbps connection but come on, whenever I see 100+kbps, that really ticks me off!

So I made several calls to Streamyx requesting for some help, really, the slow connection has taken my chance to blog regularly, each time it took me more than 5 minutes to load a page, or worst! It stops half way. And each time they will reset my connection from their side.

Unfortunately that didn’t work well YET…

Yesterday I suffered the same problem, I called up and before connecting me to the operator, I heard their announcement about service maintenance in the northern region, meaning, Penang is definitely fucked. I thought maybe the maintenance has caused some service interruption but before I could hang up, the operator spoke to me already.

I described my problem to him and after some verfication he told me that though it is a maintanence, it doesn’t mean that I cannot connect at all, but the problem is, I can connect to the internet but my speed was incredibly SLOW!

He told me to write the number down and someone will fix the problem for me the day after.

This morning, approximately 10am, someone from TM came and wanted to check on my problem, he first inserted the telephone line on a handheld machine and he told me that my telephone line is a GOOD one, I don’t understand what a “GOOD” one means because the connection is still fucking slow! Which I showed him.

And he’s like… Then something must be wrong with THEIR SIDE already. Ah well, I guess I had to suck it up to myself since the TM guy couldn’t help much.

About 5pm+ when I was watching Hellboy II, someone with “private no.” rang me up, it was from TM! And he asked me if my connection is ok because someone has came to my house to fix it. Then I explained to them that the person didn’t help much, and that I’m in a cinema. Then the man on the phone told me that he will give me a call tomorrow to check out if my connection is ok because they resetted my connection there.

Great!

I went home, and now I’m fucking happy because it’s back to normal again! I don’t know how long will my happiness stay but at least I appreciate their attitude! Very very RESPONSIBLE, and there’s no other meaning behind that word!

Therefore, even if my connection is not ok again, at least I know they were trying to help and not to gimme some lame ass excuses and fuck me aside. In return, I’d like to give them this!

Really, it was a good job. Tomorrow they will call me up again and I will nicely praise them for their responsibility!

Till then, I can enjoy my clips on Youtube and also the new up and running dawn wayang site. XD
