Things To Say When You Forget Your Friend’s Birthday Except For “I’m Sorry”

We are all humans right? We only have one skull each right? We always forget things right? And that we shouldn’t be punished when we forget our friends’ birthdays right?
EXACTLY! So it’s way too common for us NOT to remember our friend’s birthday, instead of saying “I’m sorry, I forgot.” which will disappoint your friend, be a little creative, NOT TO LIE, but to save ya damn ass from being burnt, so these are what you should say when your friend reminded you about you forgetting his birthday.
- “Oh my God how can you say that? I was about to give you a birthday surprise but you just spoiled it! Do I look like I’m THAT forgetful? You’re my friend okay?”
- “I sent you a text message exactly at 12am! I guess because a lot of people are doing the same, hence my message couldn’t get through… Oh never mind, HAPPY BIRTHDAY again!”
- “Did you receive my E-Card last night? I thought the animation was adorable! You didn’t get it?! How come?! OMG! Did you check your email properly?! OMG! OMG! OMG!”
- “YEAH! Your birthday! In fact I’m bringing you to a restaurant where you’ll be treated!” (Then call up your friends surreptitiously and plan the party immediately!!!)
- “You’re the one who said it’s October 9th, so it’s today? Happy Birthday!” (Continue acting cool after this so that he can’t start choking you)
- “She told me it’s October 9th! She’s sucha fucked up bitch!!! How can she tell me the wrong info about your birthday! She is soooooo dead! So freaking dead!!! Happy birthday by the way!”
- “Okay, so now I know Friendster’s Birthday reminder just screwed up again, or did you even add me in your friendster list?” (Keep distracting him away from the topic)
- (Sing immediately) “Happy Birthday to you~ Happy Birthday to you~ Happy Birthday to [Friend's name]~ Happy Birthday to you~ Okay I’ve wished you, so shut up.”
- “What? What? Your what? I can’t hear you!” (Very lame tactic but use this if he tells you through the phone, very effective!)
See? Instead of the same old “I’m Sorry”, you have so many ways to avoid getting into trouble, well maybe it won’t work for me anymore because my friends do read my blog but for my readers! :P
To all my friends whom I forgot to wish, well actually I wanted to say it but I didn’t get to see you in person and by sending text message does not seem to be very sincere… So… Forgive me! (Excuse)

I make it a policy to ignore everyone’s birthdays. It sets the expectations much lower.
Besides, unless I gave birth to the person in question, how the heck am I supposed to remember this?
Hi Jayne, welcome to my blog and hope you’ll keep coming back! Well, it’s true that sometimes you HAVE TO ignore people’s birthday but I don’t want people to forget. :P I rely on Friendster’s “Birthday Reminder” to remember my friend’s birthday so if I really really forget then I’m so sorry about it.

Not really a big problem for me cause its either I don’t see my friends for a long long time or I see them everyday. Those I don’t see, I’ll just come up with things like I din use my friendster or hp no credit. Those I see everyday, other people will remind me. Usually if they say I forget their birthday then I wish them ‘Happy Belated Birthday’ and forget the whole thing lor
