What Are They Doing With Snake Skins?

Note: The nuisance has started again, someone is using my name and my blog link to spam around in other bloggers’ chatboxes. To whoever that saw those spam messages, I’m sorry and I wanna make it clear that it’s not my deed.

My residential area has many foreign workers, some are from Bangladesh, China, Indonesia and Vietnam. And there are times I’m faced with culture shock, what they think is their customs sometimes irritate us, for example we don’t know what are they cooking because the smell is simply DISGUSTING. And they even butcher dogs and eat them.

This morning I smelled dead garbage, I thought some animals died outside so as I took a glance at my neighbor’s house, it’s really WTFZOMG for me to see this:

Snake Skin

Apparently my neighbor is drying the SNAKE SKINS outside their house, gosh that explains the smell. Super duper Eewth! And my neighbor are one bunch of Vietnamese and they came here to work (cheap labor). I really don’t understand why they needed that snake skins for? Have they been eating a SNAKE? If so, where did they get that snake from?

If I were to ask them about that, it’s gonna take me 741514358 days to find out because of the communication barriers, I don’t speak their language, and they can’t speak in Malay well. If I can speak their language, I’m so gonna tell them this:

IT’S FUCKING STINK!!! DO YOU KNOW THAT?!!!

If you know a thing or two about Vietnamese culture, maybe you can enlighten me about the use of snake skins? *Stares at the picture again* YUCKS!

Snake skin can be eaten wan, or rather that’s what they do in Vietnam. Read one of Kenny Sia’s post, he ate a live snake heart and drank snake blood in Vietnam (or was it somewhere else?) and Nicole told me that they had snakes for lunch-snake skin, snake meat, snake whatever and they were yummy o.0!!!

Hueyx2: Sad to tell you this but yeah, they do it.

JJ: Me too, I felt strange too.

Flux: Yeah PETA will issue a warning to them huh? Subsequently they will be chased away! Yey! That’s my wish.
