Why You Shouldn’t Believe In Those Predictions

Note: I am not saying that ALL predictions that have been made are fake shits. There are some which are real but my point is to tell you NOT to believe everything you read/hear WHOLEHEARTEDLY.

And why is that?
I read about some blogs on the predictions made by this Juseleeno Nobulega DaRoose guy about what’s gonna happen to the world in future. Frankly speaking, I’m starting to find it really funny and realized how gullible people can be! Oh in case you don’t know what I’m talking about, let me quote a few things about the predictions I read in the blogs:
2008, July: There will be an earthquake in Japan, which will cause a tsunami of 30 plus metres high to occur as well.
2008, 18th September: An earthquake with magnitude of approximately 9.1 will rock China , simultaneously causing a tsunami of more than 30 metres to occur, resulting in the deaths of more than 1 million people. Although this huge earthquake will happen after the Olympics have ended, there will be a series of relatively smaller earthquakes occurring in China before the huge earthquake. The China government, which is more concerned with the success of the Olympics, will most likely neglect to employ appropriate cautionary measures, thus the high casualty rate. If the China government does not publicise the occurrence of these minor earthquakes and evacuate people, the number of deaths will be as predicted.
2008, 17th December: terrorist attack in America
Does it ring a bell? No? It’s ok… I’m not here to promote anything about the predictions but I’m here to tell you all that whoever believes in this shits are bunch of idiots. You will know why you are an idiot if you read on!
I Googled his name and the results I got are really amazing, it seems like he has loads of names. Juseleeno, Jucelino, Juicyleno(created by myself). I’m sure it’s not hard for people to spell his name correctly if he is so well known right?

And I read about how his predictions actually came via FORWARDED EMAILS. And what would be my first impression towards FORWARDED emails? That would be a HOAX! But of course, I need to make further research in order to prove that. So I saw this in Yahoo answers!

See the words I underlined in RED? If you can’t see, click on the fucking link and read it properly.
And surprisingly these people only publicly announce their authenticity after something big happened. Then you’ll see their “amazing” testimonials, “Oh I predicted this disaster!”, “Oh I knew… bla bla bla”… But they are wise! Because if they have the balls to say things like “I know xxx is gonna die tomorrow.” And if that happens, coincidentally, he’s gonna be the first suspect. So now you know…
Why these people only make noise after disaster happens!
I’ve read articles bashing this Juseleeno guy and I’m yet to add more shits to him IF what he “predicts” within July does not occur!

Apart from this one, let me introduce to you another psychic who made false predictions back then in 2007 and other shitty claims. Her name is Sylvia Browne.

Who is she? She is an author of many books on spiritual and a celebrity psychic, she also appears on talk show discussing issues on paranormal issues. You see, all these kind of predictions, spiritual help become bullshits when a “fortune teller” decides to COMMERCIALIZE her works. Sylvia may be very popular in the States, but her popularity is equivalent to notoriety. Check out the information about her in wikipedia.

Now you can see clearly, even FAMOUS psychic gets busted too for committing fraud. And you are telling me how accurate predictions can be via emails?! How ridiculous!
And perhaps her infamous visions is when she appears on a radio program, check this excerpt from wikipedia,
At the time it was believed, due to erroneous news reports, that 12 of the 13 trapped miners had been found alive. When Noory asked Browne if she had had any psychic premonitions regarding the men, she stated that she had known they would be found. Later in the program it was revealed that the earlier news reports has been incorrect, and only 1 of the men was now believed to have survived. At this point Browne was alleged to have contradicted her earlier statement, stating that “I don’t really think there’s anybody alive”
See how she is good at twisting her words?
Want to read more about her criticisms? You can click here. And if you think I’m making up stories? There are videos of her getting busted. And personally I love this one:
Goodness she sounds like a witch to me! GOD DAMN it! It’s 3:30am when I’m blogging about this, I’m so gonna have nightmare soon. Watch how she made almost ALL false predictions for year 2007 then you will love me for keeping you positive.
And you can also click here to watch a hate video dedicated to her plus her other fake claims.

I know how those predictions can make you go “OMG” because of how dramatic they made it. And when you choose to believe it, you are creating a negative vibe to yourself and in short, you are making your life shorter! Just bear in mind that if anything becomes commercialized, they tend to become untrue because if they can make you believe everything they say, then you can foolishly feed them more. That’s why we got so many victims claiming to be cheated by the mediums. Why resort to that? And you cannot report them, because…
WHO ASKED YOU TO BELIEVE IN THEM AT THE FIRST PLACE?
I do Tarot readings for a few friends of mine and never will I tell them it’s SO TRUE. What I learn from the cards are often VAGUE answers and sometimes it can be untrue too. That’s why whenever you receive these predictions,
TAKE THEM AS A GUIDELINE, OR COMPLETE BULLSHIT, DO NOT FALL FOR THEM EASILY!
We only live once, why let people tell us when to die? And to the bloggers who still blog about the predictions, can someone show them this entry?

Ola Nuffnanger!
Hahaha sounds like you’ve really got a vendetta against psychics huh? I was actually quite hesitant to comment here because I am a Tarot Reader myself….
but then I read all the way to the end and saw your line “Take them as a guideline…and do not fall for [it] so easily” and that’s what I usually tell my clients. Of course I don’t tell them its bullshit…I happen to believe in myself…besides it would be bad for business if I did.
But what you say has a point here, I find that when psychics/fortune readers take their business to popularity and what not…well, their words don’t seem true anymore. I am not saying that there’s not truth behind what they say…but well, when you’re being watched by the public eye, I guess they cannot afford to just “speak the truth!” They must lace it with their own DRAMA and make it look like some HOLLYWOOD story because…really that’s the kind of elements people look for and get attracted to…and since these people are more for attaining fame rather than expossing truth….well there you have it.
But great psot anyway!
And this is coming from a fortune teller and alternate healer too!
Hey, your blog is a very interesting read
Predictions are rather annoying, but I don’t know what to say about Nostradamus and his predictions..
I predict that everyone will biologically age by 1 year after a year…..
Man, I’m good!
3POINT8 just blogged about Sunshine
3.8: That is a very awesome prediction! Nobody can do that! LOL
M!: Thanks a lot for dropping by! Well as for Nostradamus, I read a lot about him but the thing is this, how he managed to earn that credibility is totally different from those scammers. Well at his time, I don’t think people can afford a $900 per reading session. LOL
Cyren: I have emailed you. Please check your email yeah! =)
I think you give great advice. I recently read a book published by a psychic and he said the same thing. He claims there are so many frauds out there and many poor psychics that you must be very careful. I tend to believe this guy as he does not have any clients. He does not take money for his services. He does not even want anyone to know his real identity. He claims that no psychic can be on all the time and that is why Sylvia Brown makes mistakes on Williams’ show. He said real psychics cannot always focus on one person or topic, that they often get a muddy read. Check out http://www.conservativeoutcomes.com for his book web site. He walks the reader thru how he predicts future events and explains what he sees and how he interprets things. I always wondered if psychics were real and now I believe some are and some are not.
Taylor: First and foremost, thank you so much for dropping by! Yeah! Like I said, most of the commercialized ones are not real anymore because these people are greedy. And it amuses me how people will still consult Sylvia and ask for her help despite being exposed to the public with regards to her scams. I just hope people will take this as an awareness. Most of the real good psychics, like what you said, do not take money from their clients and always keeps it low. =)
before i came in, i predicted i will comment in goodboygonebad.com…
tadaaaaaaaaaaaa! it happened! whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :P
LUVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV!
aL just blogged about David Beckham Emporio Armani Spring/Summer 2008 Underwear Ad Campaign
aL: WOW!!! Yet another fortune teller! I love. LOL!!!
waaahh! Gullible me! I was sooooooooo worried with that since the Philippines was emphasized to have that earthquake and tsunami and we live near the shore! who wouldn’t be alarmed? But thanks to you I was able to calm myself and slap my face twice to wake and not believe in that scam…and yeah, these forwarded emails can really make you grrrr….
abby just blogged about My Techie Hubby
abby: Well even if it really happens, just remind yourself, no one can stop disaster from occurring, and nobody can tell u what will happen tomorrow. That’s why I love it when the Oogwei in “KungFu Panda” said “yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery…” =)
